I am formally trained as a clinical psychotherapist and life coach. I interweave these two disciplines into an approach of working with people that I consider less of traditional psychotherapy and more of a creative process; an art form in its own right. Although both therapy and coaching does happen in our sessions, I prefer to call my work Therapeutic Life Coaching. During our sessions I attempt to allow the pretense of traditional therapy to drop away and allow for a more fluid back and forth exchange between myself and my clients. I believe that we already have within us all we need to overcome and heal, it's just that sometimes we need some guidance, we need a sounding board, and we need a private and confidential place to unload and process. This all unfolds in during our conversations in session.
My work with clients is not for the faint of heart. I will push boundaries on your current concept of self that may feel challenging, but like any growth and change, there is an edge that we must push past, it can be uncomfortable-don't worry, I am your greatest champion and ally as you walk this edge of growth. When I work with clients, I see a human being and whole person with unlimited potential.
